Health Insurance

• The City of Bisbee provides employees with health insurance through Health Net of Arizona . We currently offer employees with the option of selecting one of two HMO plans. The Core HMO is paid 100% by the City of Bisbee and a more comprehensive Buy Up HMO is available for a contribution of $29.84 from the employee's cafeteria plan. .

Dental Insurance

Long Term Disability Insurance

• Arizona State Retirement System eligible members are insured for long term disability through Sedgwick CMS.

Short Term Disability Insurance

• Employees are provided with short term disability insurance through Mutual of Omaha.

Life Insurance

• The City of Bisbee provides employees with life insurance in the amount of $50,000 through Mutual of Omaha.

Deferred Compensation

• Nationwide Retirement oversees the government 457B retirement plan available for our employees.

Cafeteria Plan

• The City of Bisbee has allocated $67.62 per month for each employee in a Cafeteria Plan. This allocation can be put toward the payment of family medical coverage or placed in a deferred compensation plan.

 Paid Time Off

• Paid time off is granted in lieu of vacation and sick leave. Non-exempt employees receive 128 hours and exempt employees receive 168 hours of paid time off each calendar year. 7K partial exempt Fire Personnel receive 192 hours of paid time off annually. Additional paid time off is granted after five (5) and ten (10) years of continuous service with the City of Bisbee.
